I've cashed checks at this specific location and also at Ace's all over Texas and Louisiana. I travel quite a bit. I've only encountered 1 or 2 associates that hindered business, and that was out of state so it was difficult for them to verify who I was by ID alone. Overall, Ace has been excellent. Last night their card provider called and told me someone was trying to use my card at a Dollar Store in another city. The problem was evaluated, and fixed quickly. I do business with them 1 to 5 times a week. The do charge more than most other money services companies, that's true. Sometimes the cost is something that causes me to think twice, but in the end I go back to ACE for customer service. The people are good. They hire well. Originally, I was just going to use ACE for business emergencies, but they've been so helpful and convenient I've used them way more than intended. I like doing business with them. They're good people.
They're super friendly and ready and willing to help any customer that comes in the store.
If I could give a negative review I would in a heart beat. They charge you to cash a check ... understandable... they charge you to make a money order ... understandable.... but when you try and return the money order with receipt only days after you purchased said money order and they want to charge you another $69 thats stealing......!
Wanted to cash a check for 10k and they wanted to charge me $650 !! I said I will check speedy check cashing they said "they won't even cash it there". Well speedy did cash it and for $207!! Saved me $450 I will never go back to ace !!
