Went to cash a check. Called ahead of time to confirm they were open as it is Columbus Day. Ivan, who answered, had a very condescending tone. Fine, I don’t care, as long as you do your job. When I got there he said he had to verify with the bank and my employer. I asked if Columbus Day would affect it. He said he didn’t know but had to try. He ran the church through the machine, and then said he “couldn’t process it” - this is confusing because he never attempted to call my work to verify, or to call the bank. He seemed annoyed that he was even having to do HIS JOB, and oh yeah, it was going to cost $35 to deposit $680. What a joke. Then afterwards I verified myself that the bank was open. Not sure why but can’t seem to have a good experience at this Ace Cash Express, literally ever. Thanks for nothing Ivan.
