We moved to Lewisville and chose Neighborhood Credit Union. Justin Hess, the branch manager, was our first contact-as we walked through the door, he immediately asked if he could help us. He and the staff were friendly, courteous and professional. Best interaction with a bank I have ever had.
Good service from local branch but main office is terrible. Lost use of our debit cards recently, atm would not work, have had to replace multiple debit cards & more. Wish they had better technology as the app doesn’t even update balances over the weekends. Local branch is better though. Also we stopped doing the 15 purchase for high interest rate recently & our automatic payments won’t come out. So bizarre & corporate tried to blame it on me the user. For a guy that dislikes big banks like Wells Fargo & hates using the US dollar this a tough compromise to swallow!
From the moment we moved back to Texas, we found Neighborhood Credit Union because they were the shared branch for our credit union in California. The staff was great, very friendly and accommodating. Once they opened the Highland Village branch we became members and WE LOVE IT! Meghan and the staff at Highland Village are beyond awesome. We were able to refinance our vehicles and then when we were ready to grow and upgrade our vehicles, Neighborhood Credit Union again stepped up to the plate and financed our needs. If you ever need a credit union that treats you right, like a member and not a number, I cannot say it enough, trust Neighborhood Credit Union. We did and as far as I am concerned this is our financial institution of choice. Wanted to talk to someone in person on Saturday. Looked on website and it showed that they opened on Saturdays from 9-12. I was so mad when I drove 30 min and came to find out that they Only do drive through on Saturdays.
