Absolutely the worst bank ever! I couldn't believe how bad they are. I use Frost Bank, which I highly recommend because of their customer service. You can talk to someone 24/7. They care and fix your problems..this bank is like going to the Texas DMV.
This is the only bank that i found in Galveston that offers account choices without monthly fees. Its been very useful for stay home mom like me that only use my account once in a while. I strongly recommend them for moms and even workers!
I have come here for about 6 months every week and cashed my paycheck. Never any hassles or problems, until today. I was made to stand and wait while the lady (never seen her before) went back through the computer to verify all my past checks. Then she said she needed to call my employer to verify because "the signature looked different." Then embarrassed and degraded me further by making my employer verify the exact amount. The whole time she wasted was about 15 minutes. I had to go use the bathroom in the middle of it because I am 6 months pregnant. She treated me like a crook and a theif even though I am the opposite of that. When I come in next week, I will refuse to go through her line. And was considering opening an account here, but forget it.
