I come here all the time to cash checks, never had a problem. Today I went in to cash my check but was told they couldn't cash it because I had written on the back "payable to the order of...." thinking my boyfriend would cash it for me but ended up changing my mind. Not sure why it's a problem when I'm here in person with my ID giving my permission.... but ok I guess @-@ Won't ever be back. waste of my time.

You're ok with us is a bogus slogan! I went there with a business check, they wouldn't cash it, so I came back with the check rewritten in my name as a personal check, and after waiting for an hour in line, they still wouldn't cash it. So I took it to Ace and they cashed it with no problems. What do ya know, I just think Amscot us a scam and wanted to be nasty to me for whatever reason. If I could give ZERO stars, I would.

After calling them i was told your paid in full but you can never get a cash advance with us again, i have had over 30 cash advances with Amscot and only had one problem with paying them back on the last one on time! They only look at the bad one history and never look at the last 29 good one's!!!
