If you enjoy small banks that Trouble you every step of the way then you have found the right one. The app and land-line are extremely unhelpful and frustrating. I enjoy having to call multiple departments every time I must deal with my account. The employees themselves are mostly pleasant but the the hassle of having to jump through countless hoops is unbelievable. I am close to closing my account if this continues.
I support local coop stype banks, and in some ways magnify has been ahead of their time, but their fraud detection system often blocks legitimate international transactions from the same accounts which i have told them to flag as ok, but they say they are not able to do this even if i take the responsibility. Since they have not been able to offer any solution I will have to leave after being a loyal customer for over a decade. So sad that magnify isnt flexible for international transactions in a globally connected world.

Frankly there is ONE teller I get every time I go to 540a and she literally brings out the worst in me. One star because of her is too high a compliment in my opinion. She is rude and apparently thinks she is the ruler of the bank. I deposited a check today which she told me they would put a hold on it because “SHE HAS THE POWER TO MAKE THAT DETERMINATION” not because it is standard practice. Her words. Then I leave and go to run errands and this person has put a HOLD on my ENTIRE ACCOUNT. Every penny I have. I have no funds available to use the entire weekend. Pissed does not even begin to describe what I am feeling at this very second and they are closed until Monday. I will be closing my acct as soon as possible!!! They used to have people who took pride in there work and customer service was a common practice. Thos girl needs to find another profession where interaction with people is non-existent! Addition - my husband and I have banked here for over 15 years.
