What a mediocre way to communicate with costumers. i felt like they want to get rid of me and finish the conversation in the quickest way posible mixed with arrogance, very bad experience for me...(hialeah branch)
I've been a customer since 2017 and never had any issues with the Ocala branch. After being transferred to the Hialeah branch I was hung up on, lied to and left unassisted when I tried to continue to work with OneMain. Not pleased with the representative that I spoke to and will not be referring any friends or relatives.
The service has been TERRIBLE! I have attempted to change my monthly due date permanently on multiple occasions. I have called the branch in Hialeah ,which is my main branch and they were no help, rudest people on earth. Told me they could not accept a payment past the 15th of the month which I find absurd. Just this month I spoke to a representative and he scheduled a payment for me on the 17th? Everyone at that branch should be reprimanded for the way they treat their clients. I called the 800 General account support. Absolutely no help, the lady that attended me was again, rude and said she had no control over changing the due date and would contact the branch since the branch "obliges by their own rules", which again, sounds absolutely absurd. One main is a corporate company and they have no control of what their branches do? Incredible. All I wanted to do was change my due date to the furthest possible date in the month so I could pay MORE towards my loan. NO HELP FROM ONE MAIN!!! USE ONE MAIN AS YOUR LAST OPTION! I know that when your back is against the wall, any money is great money, but try ALL other alternatives before accepting a loan from these losers. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of accepting a loan from them a couple years back and now I am dealing with the consequences (out of this world interest rates) and the most recalcitrant lenders in the world. I wish i could give One Main negative 5 stars.
Customer service was very disappointing, Ilan seemed like he didn't like his job and wasn't much of a help. Although he apparently thought it would be ok to belittle me after he ran my credit he started making rude comments about some stuff that showed up. It was highly unprofessional and felt unsafe knowing he has my info, made me feel a bit creeped out but mostly now I'm constantly checking my credit to make sure he isn't doing anything shady. I would not recommend this place.
