YCCS - A National Collection System's Reviews
Your unwillingness to understand circumstances and mistakes is hurtful. I will never forget how I lost my apartment and car and returned to being homeless over a missed payment that went to default cause 3 extra days was to much time to wait. Don’t worry I’ll be paying you monthly from my make shift bed in the woods. Thank you 5 stars to go f yourselves.
only had 2 options either pay $1,000 to stop garnishment or let it hit my pay check. Over the phone they said bring in your monthly expenses not including internet/cable i specifically asked about credit cards and was told I can use that as my monthly expenses also. Got their a whole different story. They already have stuff set in their system about ‘your monthly’ expenses not sure how but it’s all calculated some how so they aren’t really helping you. If I didn’t negotiate down paying them $195 to $150 which is their minimum. They would literally leave me broke af. With the stress the atmosphere their weird. The lady made a comment about wishing she had $1,000 trying to make light of my situation. Didn’t go to well with me.. because I’ve been saving and this just hit me at the wrong time but if you don’t pay your legal fines which the system try’s to consistently take from the poor in lump sums they will come after you. So make sure you make small payments to your probation or whatever it is you have going on. Because they will come after you and then u gotta deal with these people.
Called my number multiple times and would not even say what they were calling for or about before demanding tons of personal information. I told them I'd be happy to verify my identity to clear up a mistake on their end but I needed to know what the call was even in regards to before I would be willing to comply with their demands. They got incredibly defensive at me even suggesting that a full identity checklist for a caller I did not know nor would give me any information about themselves was just ridiculous. A previous agency in Yakima had called my number after I got it looking for a different individual and they cleared up the fact it wasn't me in about 12 seconds, it was like pulling teeth even getting these clowns to admit what company they were calling from. Highly invasive, abusive, and shady. Borderline harassment on even the first call. I've never once lived in Yakima or Yakima County. I would route any call you get from them to your attorney.
This place is ridiculous! Their motto is "fair but firm"!! I laugh at that! Their people are nothing but rude!!! I made my payments faithfully for several years on a large sum of money and they defaulted me without even a phone call to tell me that my "automatic payment' wasn't received on time!! A payment they received from my bank every month on time for 5+ years, and then what, I just decide to say "nah" I think I won't pay this month!! " They treated me like a dead beat that wasn't paying my bills!! In fact I inherited this account when I got married, and even then they just took it upon themselves to say, oh you got married, well This guy owes money, so it looks like you do too!! Ignorance! It made me put 1 star in order to post..but they get no stars from me
They are in business to make as much money as they legally can, and that's what they do. They are smart, patient, and use measures that are right on the edge of illegality, but they never cross the line. YCCS didn't get to where they are by being charitable or ethical, they did so by learning the limits to what they could do... and then acted. What a vile bunch of people.
