I walked in with my one year old, not reading any reviews prior, and immediately smiled at the woman behind the counter, who just stared at me. I was looking at movies when she called over and asked what I was looking for, where I told her children's movies. She directed me to a tiny section, and told me that was what they had, where they were also very pricey for a pawn shop. Then I would try to wander to look at something else she would immediately asked what I was doing. Where I would respond, "just looking." She was obviously suspicious of me, which was super uncomfortable. And unwelcoming. I was in there for probably 5 minutes before I told them goodbye and to have a nice day. She didn't respond, let alone smile, but the man with her smiled at us. After reading the reviews I really don't understand how this place is in business. Other than maybe having little options in town. But whatever you may need to do, it's worth driving a little further than to take your business here.
The lady who runs the place is racist.. very very rude. Bad customer service, The man who works there is super nice she needs to take lessons from him.
Call before attempting to go there. You'll find that there's many items "Rings N' Things" don't consider to be things. I could make a whole list at this point. Kinda makes you wonder how they even exist when they don't seem to like business. Just reading the positive reviews, you can tell that they are fake or done by someone close to the employees. This place is going out of business for good reason. You can tell that the only thing they got going for them is their location and the fact that they are the only pawn shop on the island. Better hope Cash America never makes it out this way. Better hope other veterans don't see what you're doing with your shady business practices too. You might be armed and trained, but you're certainly not the only ones.
Went in to sale a tv, right away no customer service, the guy dealing with was extremely rude an disrespectful, an a ps4 1tb thats less then a year old im told by them its not worth much, this place needs to just close there doors or sale it to someone who wants to be in the pawn business
They are typically wrong about what your trying to pawn the woman there is bitter as all get out, and will insult you as soon as she gets a chance. Her side is as about knowledgeable about anything as my dogs about politics. DO NOT GO THERE
