Horrible place!!! Do not waste your time. Dont even deserve a one star. Was greeted nicely by blonde lady in the front, she told me she was helping another customer and went to see who could help me. Got Pier to do an app with me, the guy was slow. Don’t know if he’s all there. Took about 30 mins to do a app. Amy looked at the app, she didn’t really give me a clear answer, said it would have to be sent out of office and Pier would finish it then walked away quickly, didn’t say have a good day or anything, just walked off to go outside to smoke like didn’t have time a day for me. Poor customer service. Go elsewhere

The interest rates are harsh enough, but to add insult, you are spoken to as if you don't know much about how the process works. It's hard enough for anyone to even have to go to companies such as this, for simply the reputation alone, of specifically being "easier loans" for extremely higher rates. I can only speak personally, about one individual, and not the entire company. Overall, it speaks for itself. Approximately 2 months ago, I spoke with an individual named JASON, who quickly gave me a follow up call, and was precise on every detail and option, on top of being extremely friendly. I was not approved of the initial request, which was no problem. I received a counter offer, which I declined. After exhausting many options since that time, I unfortunately had to resort back to this company. Today I called and JASON, himself, answered the phone to my delight, hoping that I would still be in the system and that he could help. Complete turn around. Not only was his demeanor cold, but was outright condescending when questioned. I was told that the counter offer had been denied as well, and I questioned how that could be, if I denied it in the first place. At this point, he goes on to ramble and assume I don't know these "big words" he's using, not knowing how transparent he truly was. According to my credit report from just last week, this company hadn't even ran my credit for the counter offer, and if they actually had, why so, when I declined it? It's no secret that this company and others like it are true rip off schemes for those not as fortunate as others, but most people already know that going in. I simply advise not to do business with this particular office, and especially not with JASON.

I have received small loans from this company in the past and am currently paying every month, on time, above the amount due. When THEY CONTACTED ME about redoing the loan for holiday spending I decided to take them up on the offer. After several weeks of not hearing back (they say 48 hrs) I called the local office. They acted as if they knew nothing about me and as if I wasn't a current customer. I told them the only change in my account over the past year was an INCREASE in income. I spoke first with Tatiana and then was put through to Jason. Neither individual was respectful to me as a current customer in good standing and instead I felt like a criminal asking for money. I wrote an email to customer service and of course have heard nothing back. That's okay though, this loan is nearly paid off and then "bye bye Mariner" for me. Poor customer service is never okay whether the individual qualifies or not, which has not been determined here...and especially when working with an existing, good-standing customer!

Recently I contacted this company due to that I had a small loan with them in the past when I was in a bind so I went to them again for a fast process. At the moment Mr. Hector was the manager when I utilized this location years ago and I always saw him treat each customer with respect while being prompt with their follow ups. I submitted an application over the phone and I have been getting the run around about the status. First it was wait for a couple of hours, to a day, to two days and then to over a week for a small loan. When I called and asked about the status they stated it was pending and thirty seconds later it was declined. Asked for the reason and I was on hold probably when it was instructed what to say and when I asked how much was the loan I applied for I got “disconnected”. I encourage that no one have this experience no matter of your credit score or what situation you are in. It’s sad that this type of place is treating customers like this when they are vulnerable and really have a need that needs to be meet. Honestly I feel that they did not run my application and gave false information even when I asked for a letter to be mailed. I will be following up and request writing because how many other individuals they have done this way.
