Beware of Lendmark!! Ill make it clear my wife had already left a negative review one year ago, after an upsetting episode in which Ms.J. Mitchell, seemed to withhold our refund(from over payment when loan was paid off) and title after it was returned to the local branch and she just forwarded it after I intently told her I would pick up as soon as it was available. We parted ways with Landmark at that time, unfortunately we learned yesterday that Landmark (the responsibility of Ms. Mitchell to have filed) that Landmark never even reported the loan as paid and it has held in limbo against my credit, negatively affecting my score and interest rates for this entire year. When our rep could not get answers after multiple calls to Landmark home office and the branch location, we made a conference call to The branch office in Wilkesboro together. This is where Ms. Mitchell became rude and disrespectful towards my wife. She then made it as a huge inconvience to state something was paid 12 months and 10 days ago. I will never recommend this office or company to any friends or family. My father in law will also be transferring his existing loan to another service, as this office has lost his confidence and business as well.
We had not had any major issues until recently. Incompetent front office staff who can not handle basic instruction. Moved our business to a different company after dealing with this office for years and received retaliation from lendmark staff, and still yet have nto received the rather large refund we are due. Unprofessional is an understatement.
