The process was smooth and easy. I was in and out within an hour! Briona was AMAZINGLY kind and attentive.
I wouldn't give even one star to this place. I paid off my loan after making my payments on time and they lost my car title. They were a lien holder on my car until my loan was paid off. I have called several times about the status of a lost title they filed for a month back. I get people from this office who are rude and non caring telling me it's not in their hands now. To wait for DMV. How about following up with DMV since YOUR office lost my car title. I wouldn't do business with this place. Regional Finance in Garner is a good place to do business with if you need a loan.
DO NOT OPEN A LOAN WITH THIS COMPANY!!!! Theyre liars and employ the most incompetent people ever!!!!!! I got behind on 1 payment ($80) paid it along with a partial payment for the current month ($96 in total) and they put a freeze on my bank account because when I made the payment the "person"who took my payment over the phone never informed their legal dept I made the payment. So $96 has caused my account to be over drafted double what I owed them and they still got paid.
Very bad customer service. I came in to my Mariner finance on Monday I sat there for 20 minutes before anybody said anything to me. The receptionists was on a personal phone call and never aknowledge me sitting in the waiting area Meanwhile the 1st gentleman at the 1st desk had asked me what did I need help with, my name all this information I tell him and then he starts to fo do something else and forgot all about me so I got up and walked out.
Just called to inquire about refinancing for a larger amount. The conversation started off very good and ended really bad. Edward was very professional and helpful initially until I asked about the refinancing process. He asked me questions to better understand what my needs were and then when I volunteered for him to pull up my account so he can see my info, he told me my balance and said seems like something went on with the October payment. I never missed a payment. So I asked what do you mean, something went on with the October payment? My account was literally opened near the end of September. My first payment was due in early November. He seemed like he was having a hard time helping me know what my options are. I told him, “you know what, never mind. Thank you for your time.” I guess he was mad and hung up the phone. I’m 2 star-ing because he was professional in the beginning but end the call rudely. Don’t hang up on me! I will take my business elsewhere.
