You don't do FAXING at this location anymore? Why not?

I came in the store right before closing. It was maybe 6:55. I had an Allstate insurance check that I needed to cash. When I called in she initially told me it was only going to cost me 50.00 to cash my check. When I walked through the door she informed me that it was going to be 92.50. I was ok with that because I was in need of money. She then looked at me and said you really must need this check. I had all of my documents available and the clerk was able verify the check almost immediately. I had to sign a couple of documents which is understandable. She then began to try to encourage me to come back tomorrow at 8:00 to get my money. Which was not an option for me at this time. The clerk had no idea about what she was doing or access to anything she needed. She had to make several phone calls to help her complete my transaction. At this point the manager called her and asked her if she was still in the store they were arguing on the phone right in front me me. The clerk told the manger she had kids to go home to and didn’t want to be arguing with her. She then asked me to take a seat because she needed to wait on some type of log number. I waited about an 30 mins for her to get that. Not to mention she had me waiting in the dark because she turned the lights off. She began to look for cards to put my money on and could not find any so she had to make another call so someone could help her find them. Then when she was about to put my money on a card she said she couldn’t do it because I had a net spend card before. She then told me to have another seat (in the dark lobby) so she could open her safe cause she was just going to give me cash. So I sat back down and realized that this clerk had not been trained on how to use the safe and got locked out of it at this time it’s about 8:00. I also heard her crying out of frustration which made me feel horrible. But I quickly realized that I’m the customer and she was doing her job. She was on the phone with Ace security trying to get the safe open. I over hear her saying that no one ever showed her how to use the safe and so on and so forth. She then calls me back up to the desk and tells me that the store manager is on the way and I had to wait another ten minutes. She offers me some chips and soda and apologizes. The store manager comes in and fixes everything gets me my money and I was on my way. By that time it was 8:30. So I spend about 1 hour and a half just to cash a check. I will never use Ace check cashing or refer a friend to you all ever again. I was in a tight spot and my bank was close and I needed my money right then. For the amount of money I paid for the check cashing service I felt like I should have gotten better service. I honestly feel like I should get a refund for this whole ordeal.

It's easy, fast and transparent and I always enjoy the service.
