If I could leave no stars I would. Do not open an account here. Suntrust is the absolute worst. Terrible customer service practices.
Please don't try to cash a check that has you and your spouses name with a joint account. They will not cash it unless you are a celebrity known worldwide. If you are just plain regular folk, forget it. Just take it to a local check cashing business, they are more than happy to do business with you. Absolutely horrible service stemming from a lack of will to communicate on their part. Literally writing this as I sit and wait after she cut me off twice mid sentence
Don't use your debit bank card because the transactions never come out in the order you do them and the next thing you know you have a bunch of overdraft fees which they have no control over.. Don't ever get an account with Suntrust more like steal your money trust that. This has happened more than once as well, called and there was nothing they could do to help.
I love having an account with SunTrust. But unfortunately the staff at this location has been changed since it's opening. The new stuff is just not comparable with the original.
