Telco Community Credit Union's Reviews
I love Telco, and typically use the branch in Candler, but since I started working on this side of town I've stopped into this location a few times. I can't say I'm impressed. The staff and management were unhelpful, nor were they nearly as friendly as those in Candler.
The staff is always very helpful and knowledgeable. I have banked with Telco since 1992 and I have always been pleased with the service that I have received, whether it is a simple checking transaction or a loan application. I love the small town feel coupled with the wide range of comparable services of larger institutions.
Terrible service. The bank is stuck in a different century and the staff seem unhappy and are rarely helpful. I have a better time in person, on occasion, but I've never been impressed. I usually have to call or visit two to three times to find out the correct information about something. They either don't know how to answer my question or simply give me the wrong answer. Most recently, I was trying to transfer money to a new bank. I was having trouble finding the account number for one of my savings accounts (because you can't find ANYTHING on their website), the person on the phone told me it was the same number as my checking account. I almost overdrew thousands of dollars, because it pulled from my checking and not the savings account I asked about. When I called back, the next person told me something completely different. We will see if it works this time. Needless to say, I'm switching banks.
They NEVER answer the phone!
