Most bad reviews of finance companies come from disgruntled people! The truth is that this finance company takes a chance on people with less than perfect credit. This branch has been a pleasure to work with. Cari and Karen have extended me every professional courtesy, have taken the time to educate me on my loan, and have always been so kind. I highly recommend this branch!!
I have made every payment in the three years I have worked with them, one time I asked for a month break they allowed me to pay half. I am 2 days from finishing with them and asked once more they refused did not even want to listen and quoted policy. I pay nearly 30% interest (the recession created havoc on my credit) they are not flexible even with good customers. I suggest do not work with this business, it is like selling your soul to satan
I'm giving a 1 star only because I can't give a negative 10. The most unprofessional group of people I have ever delt with. They change their policy when ever they feel like and don't notify the customers. On the phone get told 1 thing then 2 hours later my truck is shut off. Ask questions and they cop an attitude and refuse to answer. Try to make a payment and get hung up on and they refuse to answer. The worst car loan experience I have ever had. Lawyers will be contacted to fix situation. Don't ever go through this company!!!
I gave a 1 because 0 inst an option. As you will see a trend here in the reviews, Equitable Finance Company up and shut down their Bend branch without any notices to its customers. In fact i found out they shut down the Bend office when I showed up at that location to make my monthly payment. What a way to treat your clientele. While this in itself isn't a good way to take care of your customers, the worst part was getting forced to deal with the Redmond Branch. This place has the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. On top of all that, your now forced to drive to Redmond if you want to make a payment, or pay the $6 fee. This will be the last loan do through Equitable Fin Co and I would suggest that you do yourself a favor and don't step foot in the place. Walk if it means no car loan and not having to deal with this place.
Both times we have made our payments at this location have been less than satisfactory experiences. The woman in the middle desk, didn't get her name because she didn't introduce herself, was rude. Not responsive when I first walked in. Openly discussing another account holders personal financial business, using the clients full name while doing so. Didn't offer a receipt for payment and got an attitude when one was requested. We will be making our payments online from now on. Too bad they closed the bend office. The employees there were so much nicer. Edit: As I have stated before, this branch has a SERIOUS lack of customer service skills as a whole. They are extremely unprofessional. When I HAVE to deal with any of the females in this office, I feel like I am dealing with a gaggle of high school girls. They are catty, and rude. And when asked to speak with someone to offer a complaint, I was told I can't speak with anyone else besides them. What a crock. I advise anyone looking to do business with these people to look elsewhere. It's not worth it. They are scammers as most loan places are. Nice and sweet when you are in a vulnerable state and rude and unprofessional once they have you locked in.
