My father trusted this Credit Union with his finances until the day he died. Unfortunately, they repaid his trust by ignoring his online banking requests, closing his accounts, and depleting both his checking and savings to cover their credit card. They left nothing to pay his other creditors. Follow-up: Mike S., a Senior VP for Towpath reached out to me and my family. He made the situation better. Towpath was able to return a portion of the funds which allowed me to payback some debts on my father's behalf.
I have been a member of Towpath Credit Union since 1992 and have enjoyed decades of great service and helpful, friendly people. We financed cars, got a second mortgage and set up savings accounts for our children. All the staff from the drive-through window to the lobby to the loan department to the president/CEO are customer-focused and will go above and beyond for their members.
