Wright-Patt Credit Union in Dayton, Ohio

This is one of my favorite locations. Although it can be extremely busy it goes smoothly. I feel comfortable bringing in my high volume charity coin deposits. Each and every time I have been there the employees & managers are friendly, professional & helpful. Thank you and keep up the great work.

The staff is real nice but if you ever have to call the customer support, you better have at least an hour to sit on hold. And DON'T EVER select "we'll call you back" because literally never once have anyone ever called me back. As a financial institute one would assume access to your account might be somewhere on their list of priorities but you would be mistaken. Such a glaring defect in what would rather be a great bank. Banking 4/5 Customer service 1/5.. if ya get anyone to talk to you.. other wise 0/5 it never happens.

Please make sure you’re workers can properly type out a last name. Went through the drive thru service lane to make a deposit and the worker at the time asked if my account was under a different name because she was having trouble “locating my checking account”. Uhmmm.. clearly she had difficulty spelling/typing out REIGELSPERGER when it was literally in front of her via my drivers license. Furthermore she had difficulty double or triple checking the correct spelling (which is what any professional would have done) This immediately prompted unnecessary concern that my account(s) had been somehow compromised. Other than starting off my morning horribly today this location is usually very quick and EFFICIENT! No other complaints :)

My husband and I have been with WPCU since 2014 with our auto loan. Up until today, I have been nothing but satisfied with customer service, willingness to work with us when we are struggling. Today everything changed for us and I CANNOT WAIT to be done with you. We switched our auto insurance to bundle with our home insurance policy. We get a letter from WPCU with a website to go to in order to verify our insurance. If we didn’t do this, we would be given insurance added into our loan. No big deal—I verified through that website and have the confirmation email. I have been making payments consistently for years. We have recently been behind due to multiple circumstances. I had surgery in April and my brother died in May. We called to attempt to do the skip a pay and were told no because we were already late for that month. Asked what options we had, given nothing. We have been multiple months behind before and have always been given the “no worries, pay what you can, we will note it on the account.” Fast forward to today. 1 month behind. 1 MONTH. My husband gets home from work and our car is gone. Call customer service, she’s the rudest person we’ve ever dealt with. Ultimately we are told that they never received the insurance verification, even though we have the confirmation email. So they charged us $955 for insurance (that we already have and have already verified as requested by you) which ultimately increased our monthly payment. Never sent any documentation that our payment increased. No documentation that insurance verification wasn’t received and they were charging us for insurance. So now, on top of repossessing the vehicle for an insurance screw up on YOUR part.. we now have to pay extra fees that will be added to our loan? Unacceptable. I will be going into a branch to get this taken care of this week but I will never ever again go through WPCU for any financial needs and I will never recommenced anyone to this place.

Great credit union, never had an issue here. My only complaint is there only being one drive-thru atm. Its an issue because it doesnt matter what day it is what time at night you go, you will be waiting in line and a line will form behined you so during peak hours its crazy busy.
