This incident has happened some time ago. I emailed the company about my incident but never received a response. I went in to this location to cash money orders. The rep asked for my information and went over to pick up the phone (never dialed any numbers) and puts the phone back down in a matter of 5 seconds. She comes back to the counter and tells me the money orders can not be verified. I verified that they were still in good standing prior to going there so I knew that was a lie. I asked for the manager and the rep pointed at a woman that was sitting. When I asked the manager if I could speak with her she rolled her eyes at me and sat there. I was pretty much told that they would not do anything for me because I was black. After going back and fourth with the rep, they threatened to call the police on me. I walked less than a quarter of a mile to the next check cashing place and cashed my money orders with no issues at all. The rep never made a call and judged me by the color of my skin. If my money orders were not valid I would not have been able to cash them but I was able to at another establishment that was more accepting to people of color.
