I had a fairly new debit card and all the sudden places said couldnt read chip. So the lady said come in and order new one. Sat down at the lady’s desk closest to counter and she proceeded to take my info and placed an order for my defective card. Thats it! Come monday i see i was charged $10 for atm card!! She never mentioned it what so ever so i figured theyd cover the charges since i didnt do anything to ruin my card. Just a shady location and I normally deal with austintown branch. They run circles in customer service vs chardon. I think its time for some of them to retire. They forget they work for us. Not to mention that a fee was associated with a faulty card. I could see if i lost it and was my fault. So i reached out to the austintown branch and the lady there took that $10 charge off faster than i could say please. Thats service there! Chardon, if I managed that branch, id be doing some heavy spring cleaning with staff. Home savings bank is a yes! The chardon location is a NO!!
