BankVista's Reviews
If you deal with LouAnn Peterson, good luck. Lack of attention to detail and fails at communication. I was hoping to find a bank to work with in future loans. I had high hopes going into it, but unfortunately her lack of expertise and communication derailed that idea. I’ve already started 2 more loans with another bank bankvista could of had. I hate I can’t give Zero stars, cause I would
I don't believe you can find any bank in this state as friendly and professional as Bank Vista. They have bent over backwards to help our company, and we will always be thankful for their part in making us successful.
GREAT FRIENDLY BANK ,LOVE BANKING HERE.
Great staff, friendly and aways very helpful☺
I went to BankVista for a small business loan to purchase a business in a small town in MN. This business is for sale and is precisely the type of business that the SBA is set up to help. I was introduced to Mike Phillips at BankVista through the seller's broker. I set a meeting with the Loan Officer, Mike Phillips, sent my resume showing a long, successful career, provided a 40 page business plan on an already successful business, and he made up his mind within 10 minutes of meeting him, based on a personality clash, that BankVista was not going to work with me. He began the meeting looking at me in total silence, forcing me to "lead" the meeting, I began to review my history, both positive and negative. When finished, he said we had a 45% chance of succeeding in getting an SBA loan. A banker at Bremer Bank three days ago had said an 85% chance. Mike never looked at my business plan with me, (only stating that my predictions were too optimistic). He also asked me what my plan B and C were if the business began failing because he "didn't want to be the first person" I came to if it went south. I also asked what if I had a cosigner, would that make any difference? He said he didn't like to use cosigners because too often they didn't know what they were getting themselves into...even though I had explained that my backer, should I need one, was a successful trader of mortgages who handled many millions of dollars of transactions a day. I've never been treated so rudely by a person who was asking me to be HIS customer in my life. No smile. No I'm sorry. Just a smug attitude that said "I don't like you and you're wasting my time."
