Went to this institution today to deposit our tax return check into my savings. My wife and I have separate banks. Been with them for a year and really only need a place for my direct deposit paycheck to go, but have a sizable sum here. The teller stated my wife would need to endorse the check as well as me, which I was fine with. Went to my truck and had her sign. Came back and the teller said now she would need to come in with an ID. I grew agitated and some woman I assume is the manager because she never greeted me or gave her name came out and got nasty! They questioned my integrity which angered me the most. Had my wife come in and show ID and they apologized to her and I said apologies to me I’m your customer! They didn’t want to though. It is always somthing with this place and they are always rude and nasty like it’s my fault! I guess this place was robbed recently, but I can’t find any information about it. Also there was a guard standing right next to me watching the whole thing. I felt trying to intimidate me while I was voicing my disapproval! This isn’t the first time they have been unprofessional.
My overall experience with Genisys CU is good. They are helpful and nice whenever I've visited their branch office. Their loan rates tend to be far better than big banks or even other credit unions.
Been with Genisys Credit Union since 2005/6 when they were still USA Credit Union. Staff knows your name. Works hard for their customers. And have always been friendly and fair.
Have used them for a little over two years now. Have had nothing but great experiences on the three loans I have gotten through this branch. My go to for car loans, personal loans etc. Kim has been nothing but Great to work with on all of my loans. Talia the manager has been very helpful the few times I have talked to her as well. Would highly recommend.
