This is the friendly, local bank I've long been searching for! The whole team goes above and beyond and makes banking a pleasure. As a small business owner, I'm so grateful for the advice and service I've gotten that I've now moved my personal account to BNC as well. I can shoot an email or pick up the phone and get something fixed or explained in a jiffy. BNC offers all of the convenient features of larger banks such as online banking, bill pay, and mobile deposit, but unlike larger banks with unbendable procedures and layers of middle management, BNC is flexible and the staff uses common sense and judgment to solve problems. If there's a charge I don't understand or a process that doesn't work for me, they make it right. They get ahead of issues and advise me when I should try a solution that makes more sense for my situation. They make me feel like I'm their best and only client, and I know that's not the case! Really just can't say enough good things about this bank.
Do not waste your time! I applied with Doug Bowdish in March of 13. I got pre-approved for more than I wanted. I made an offer on a house in May of 13 much lower than I was approved for. After two months, I had to repeat information to Doug, resend him documents, and correct his many mistakes. He delayed closing 4 times! I eventually stopped getting information from him, but surprised when my realtor had more information than me. Eventually after all the hassle he could not get the job done. Save your time and your money. I will pursue actions for every cent he cost me!
