Great customer satisfaction and very clean.
I'm surprised at the negative reviews. Any time I have been here I received excellent customer service and the employees were very friendly and helpful.
This branch is the closest you'll get to a 'hometown bank' in Excelsior. Far better than the others in town as far as customer service is concerned. The staff still recognizes regulars, is kind to children and patient with elderly customers. I've been a TCF customer for over 15 years and have definitely had negative experiences with the company and at multiple locations (I really dislike the phone banking system) but the Excelsior branch has by far been the easiest and most accommodating TCF location. They're also not super busy like some other branches and I never get the sales pitch to open more accounts each time I go. Pleasant experience here.
Quick and easy service.
The loan officer for this location and Chanhassen was very rude to me. He made a claim that I don't know what I was talking about when the truth was that he didn't know what he was talking about since he jumped to conclusions that he was always right. I tried being nice and working him more, but he dropped the ball and never gave me anymore information that he told me he would give me. I would never recommend getting a mortgage from TCF bank. Tom T. is very unprofessional and is terrible at communicating.
