Can’t cash a tcf check written to me with identification. Cost 1-3% to verify their own check!
FYI: this location and many others in the area have changed their hours/days of operation and have not updated their listings! They are not open on Sundays and if they are like other locations in the metro, they are not open the hours they list and instead have (I kid you not) posted their updated hours by hand-writing them on torn pieces of notebook paper taped to the front of their doors. I am beyond disappointed not only by the inconvenient change in their hours but the unprofessional way they informed their customers (and also neglecting to update them online). The only reason I bank with TCF is because of their hours. I work at a small business that does not do direct deposit and I work until 6pm. If I try to do an online deposit, it takes days to process. What options do I have to deposit my paychecks with them now? I've had other operational issues with them in the past and now there is absolutely no incentive for me to continue doing business with them, so I will be looking elsewhere for my banking needs.
