I recently opened up my first business checking and savings account. Decided to with a credit union instead of the big banks. The staff at the Numark Tinley Park location were very kind, helpful and hospitable. I worked with Julie Smith to open my accounts and I was very pleased and comfortable with her. She congratulated me on my new business endeavors and opened my accounts easily and quickly. Looking forward to working with this credit union for my company and if all is well eventually with my personal checking and savings account.
Over the past 6-7 years I have had the pleasure in getting to know Andrea and Becky over at the Countryside branch. I can not express how fortunate I am to have genuine people care about me and go out of their way to make certain I am well taken care of. Their level of professionalism is second to none. I have been introduced to Justine and she has been friendly and courteous to me as well. These wonderful ladies are truly an asset to NuMark Credit Union! I will continue to refer as many people as I know to them and to this specific branch! I'm extremely frustrated with the service I received today. I called ahead to find out what items I need to open a checking account. When I arrived I was greeted warmly by June. After waiting about 20 minutes I was greeted by the service representative. I explained my dilemma and she gathered my information to get approval. When she returned she mentioned that the cable bill was ok. Unfortunately, the bill I had was old. I was having a HARD TIME accessing the Internet inside the branch. I had to leave and go outside to gain reception to download my recent bill and email it to her. After I returned the decision to use the cable bill was denied. I was LIVID! That was a waste of time when that should have been decided when I called the branch. I'm really disappointed with how it ended. I should have been greeted by management to further explain WHY they decided the cable bill wasn't acceptable.
I originally made my 5 star review when I got my first car loan through NuMark, 3 years ago this June. I had previously belonged to Bank of America for 5 years and when it came time to take out a 2000$ car loan they refused to help me because I had bad credit.(score of 535) My family referred me to the NuMark in Tinley Park IL and within 2 hours I had a bank and savings account set up and the approval for my car. NuMark went above and beyond to help me get a car loan so I can get to work and helped me start fixing my credit. 3 years later and both my credit score and fico are above a 730. They not only gave me a car loan but helped me with things I had no idea how to fix. They treated me like family when they had never met me before. Since then, I have taken out 2 more loans with no issues. I would highly recommend this credit union. Thank you Joellen and NuMark staff for all your amazing service!
