I will never use this place again. They call 4-5 times a day before my payment is even due. I have also told them numerous times to stop sending me junk mail trying to get me to take out additional loans, but I still get something once a week from them. Very horrible business.
I agree with Kristyn. They add $600 rent into your budget whether you pay it or not however they don't disclose this upfront when they ask about your rent/house payment. Shady way to do business.
Absolutely under zero circumstances will I ever go back to Personal Finance. I took a loan out through them a few years ago and the one in Peoria was awesome and super helpful. I was living at home with my parents and go approved through them and was able to get my dog the surgery that she needed. Fast forward to today, Peoria's office is no longer there, we applied for a loan through Pekin's office so that my brother can get his dog the surgery that she needs. He got told he needed a co-signer due to having no credit. Fine whatever not a big deal. My sister co-signs for him and then they both get denied. WHY?! They both live at with our parents and work full-time jobs and pay no bills other than one car payment. Pekin's Personal finance office says it is "policy" that they put in the application that they are both paying $600 to my PARENTS for rent. I would like to know since when was this policy put into place because Peoria never had such a stupid policy set in place. This is just a way to screw people over!!!
They have always treated me well since 1970s in another state. The Pekin agency has always gave me 100% service to take care of my needs and sometimes even my "wants" lol. Great place to do business.
