I purchased a vehicle from them and I have to say that I had the worst experience purchasing a car ever. Matt McGinn was the salesman who assisted me. This guy made zero effort in order to be nice and make the experience pleasant for me. He was extremely unfriendly and kept the sales process quite boring the whole time. like you cant be nice and sociable what are you doing in sales. He did not explain the product and all he did was showed me what they had on their website and took me for a test drive which he kept quiet the whole time and I was the one who was making an effort to make a conversation. So I test drove the car and agreed on the price which came down to how sneaky and untrustworthy this dealership and it’s management is. They never told me about the interest rate and kept it quite as a planned game to get me inside the finance office where a very unfriendly women who looked like was pretty miserable doing her job processed my Transaction and I had to ask her so what interest rate am I getting and so she answered and I told her hey if you guys are selling my loan to a bank or union 2% lower than what I’m going to pay and she gave me some none sense answer and I was naive enough to fall for it. FYI dealerships sell your loan 2% lower than what they present to you to banks and unions and as long as you’re not willing to walk out in the middle of the deal they are not lowering that 2% extra that they bank into their own pocket which I have learn how to do now. Bottom line do not trust these people. so not only you overpay for the cars that you buy from them With all the bad attitude you have to endure from their staff but you also pay 2% of what you finance to the dealership as a part of the deal. They do not even have the courtesy to make an effort to be nice for the money you give them. Although I have to admit that the sales manager was pretty nice but even that did not make my experience less unpleasant. Watch your back when dealing with these people!!!

My experience with Hoffman Estates Benz service department is absolutely terrible. The thing is all this happened before repair. This service agent name Julio Ramirez would argue with me on extended warranty coverage even with hard copy of the proof. We bought the car and the warranty from the same company from the road. Julio said it would take 2-3 days just to find out if extended warranty covers problem, so the car needs to stay at a dealer 3-4 days entirely. He also said an inspector from extended warranty company needs to come out and inspect the vehicle. So I requested for loaner vehicle. He denied my request for loaner. He said the dealer is so busy I would have to wait 3-4 days until next loaner vehicle is available. Alright! At this point, I really need to reschedule service since I have work just like everyone else. However, I guess Julio really didn't like me pulling my car out of the garage today without any repairing job done to it. Then he started talking to me like how my car is going to have major problem and giving me really really bad attitude. He wouldn't even listen to me rather keeps cutting me off as I was trying to explain. We didn't yell at each other but I struggled so hard to tell/explain my situation. I finally rescheduled my service also request that I will be seen by other agent since Julio was too tough to deal with. And again he is giving me attitude saying "yeah! I will be happy to send you off to somebody else!" I have never seen/heard/experienced any dealer service which I got from Julio. MotorWorks! Please do better with customer service. Julio is not the right individual for the position. I am deeply disappointed. why. Please hire someone who really listens to his customer.

Service department is no good. "Every" issue I have with my car, it takes them multiple appointments to fix. There's always a long wait and not enough loaner cars. I had them change my front brakes and brought my car back the next week (as soon as I could get back) and told them my car stops worst now (longer to stop) then with the old brakes. They told me I needed to by snow chains or change the way I brakes. I've been driving in Chicago for over 25 tires and never needed snow chains. I change my oil routinely, every 5k miles, per manual. Now I have the check engine oil light on after 4k miles. The oil is black. Makes me think they didn't change the oil (that I paid a lot of money for them to do).
