Walked into the location 2497 w. Golf and was instantly look at and treated like a scammer. I told Maria Navarro I wanted to open a checking account. She said okay but just so you know we verify check-systems. I said that’s fine, I don’t owe any banks. I handed her my state ID and provided my social. She asked are you using cash or checks. I said cash she goes on saying well if you put a check in after I finish it will be placed on hold just Incase you’re thinking of doing so . I said that’s no issues I have cash and don’t deposit checks. She proceeded to open the account. The next thing I know she brings up check systems again and told me my STATE ID wasn’t good enough she needed my DL because people try to bypass check systems . My government issued state ID isn’t good enough. At that point I knew I was Being discriminated against. I immediately asked for her business card. I went to another bank and had no issues opening an account. This bank is not for African Americans. Run
