Do Not use Dan Corrado from Caliber Home loans. Shady double talking salesman. Who will not give you straight answers. Just wants to make a sale and does not listen to requests. Pulled my Wife and I’s preapproval after we had to back out of house because he miss quoted our closing costs. He did this after he was going to use our grant money towards our closing costs. When we told him ahead of time we wanted to use it towards a down payment. We negotiated closing costs into the contract. Turns out instead of the closing cost being 4,000 they were around 11,000. Then he tried to double talk his way out of it. Which would have resulted us having higher mortgage payments or having to come up with 7 grand at closing. Basically don’t trust this guy.
