Member services drags their feet when it comes to cc disputes. They had all the info they needed to refund the fraudulent activity. But because they took there time in the matter now too much time has passed. Of course it did. One way not to have to credit the account back!
I have a car financed through BCU and got in a little accident. The insurance check was made out to me and BCU. I took the check to the Crystal Lake branch. They told me they would also need the insurance estimate and the work order from the body shop. I took all to the CL branch, and was told the funds would be placed on hold in my account while the department that handles that would review and send the check to the body shop - review would be 24-48 hours. That was over two weeks ago. First I was told that the teller I gave everything to didn't follow procedure, but it would all be taken care of. I asked for a follow up call. Never got a call. Now they are asking for the documents I hand delivered again. You'd think I was the first person that ever got in a accident in a BCU financed car. I'm glad the body shop is very patient.
