Guiovanny and Yolanda did a great job with my personal loan. Just to make it clear, I did notice some reviews that are misleading. First of all, "Pre-Approval" doesn't mean you getting a loan. It's all base on your credit and income. Secondly, they have been short staffed. Being a small business owner, it's hard to find quality employees these days. Everyone wants higher wages but have lack of experience and don't want to work. In my opinion, this shouldn't reflect solely on management. Finally, you get your loan agreement via email, which for security reasons the pin expires in 7 days. Just ask to print your loan on the spot when you sign so there's no misunderstandings. All in all, I am very pleased with this branch. Thank you so much.
Please use another branch if your trying to acquire a loan. The branch loan officer's are very unprofessional. I know this for a fact, because the prior branch manager knew the process and did not waste customer's time. This branch had me drive all the way from the Southside to tell me that they could not refinance my loan. All my paperwork should have been done, before you gave me a 1:30pm appointment. Whoever is in charge of this branch, you have made a mistake in hiring. These people should not represent your company in the public. Unless you want your company to look unprofessional or, like they dont know what they are doing! Nothing ever happened like this with American General.
My boyfriend and I went in and they were great. We worked with Sam the assistant manager. He explained everything in the most easiest way to understand. We did wait a little long even though we had an appointment but it wasn't too bad. Other than that he was nice, friendly and very helpful.
The staff was very disorganized and unprepared. Mistakes were made in my loan application. I have never received a copy of my loan document despite repeated requests. I do have my loan, but I would never recommend OneMain and would never plan to use its services, again.
The staff at OneMain Financial on Irvingpark in Chicago, IL. were professional, courteous , and friendly. I Will definitely recommend this office to friends and family!
