Bad customer service,So I do not recommend visiting this branch
Stopped by to get a single document notarized. There were absolutely no customers in the bank at the time. The lady who was the notary said she was too busy to help us and to make an appointment for 2 hours later. She certainly didn't look busy. I mentioned we were Platinum Preferred customers. Made no difference. Suggested it would take no more than 5 minutes. She said it took much longer. Went to the UPS store nearby. In and out in 3 minutes. No sense of customer service at this branch at all.
Drive thru not open at 11:45am on a Thursday. Always a line in the bank with one teller working. Never more than one teller. There are 4 other bank employees not with customers. I get to the front of the line and I'm told to wait. Three bank employees need money counted by the one teller. I ask why the drive thru is not open. The manager, Hamza Shah, sighs and said none of the Bank of America drive thrus are open anymore. Really? I then ask why I wait in a line to be helped when one of them can help customers in the line. Blank stares. I ask why I have to wait to deposit a check into my account so they can have the one teller do bank business. The manager did not like so many questions. I asked for his business card and he hurriedly got it, gave it to me, and walked away. No customer service skills at all. Argumentative when I asked his boss' name and he disappeared out the back exit of the bank and didn't come back with his boss' information. We've been customers of this branch for 7 years now, and Bank of America for decades. We have business accounts here too. I'm going to complain to corporate and switch banks. Do not bank here.
You will never see more then one window on the counter not matters how many people wait in line.
I give a high rating to Ms. Kachadorian, who was polite, patient and professional, doing her best to assist with an issue at the bank. However, the issue reflects a poor process within Bank of America, one where customers are not, sadly, viewed as important elements in money management, even if it is theirs.
