Brian Kamin and his team provided superb customer service. I am in the real estate industry so I already knew the basic process of obtaining a loan (in this case, refinancing) and what the documents reference and what typical documents are needed from the borrower. I also work with many lenders and Brian is the only one who thought outside the box and offered information on a 10-1 ARM product, which saved us the most money monthly as well as over the course of the 10 years before the rate changes. He explained the product in clear terms, answered all of our questions, and provided excellent analysis of how it compared to other loan products. Communication is also essential and the team did a good job of keeping us in the loop on the progress of the loan in a timely manner and answered all of our questions as we went along. We highly recommend Brian!
"Preferred lender" to Brookfield Homes, and we just closed on a new home build in 8/2019. They encourage you to use them with a $5,000 - $7,500 incentive, which they split up between the lender and builder. However, they jack up most of the legitimate fees AND also charge numerous exhorbitantly high JUNK FEES to make up for it. And they claim that there's NO flexibility AT ALL in terms of reducing ANY of those fees. ALL THE FEES ARE SUPER HIGH AND THERE'S SO MANY JUNK FEES!!! I definitely will avoid using them again.
Never use this company, I was mislead and lied to throughout the entire process. Closing dates had to be pushed back due to the incompetence of my loan officer.
