If I could give less than 1 star, I would. I am a repeat customer that received a second title loan. The people that worked there were friendly and always made it seem like they valued me as a customer. During this second title loan, my grandfather passed away from lung and brain cancer. 3 days before he passed, my grandmother was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. I quit my job and became a full time caregiver for her. Getting paid through Medicaid. If anyone knows that process, it’s difficult and pay gets delayed. I still have not been paid for the month or October and it’s now December. I started to fall behind on my payments and I always kept in contact with the workers at Advanced America. Valerie told me if I made a double payment in September it would take care of October. That was not true. I fell behind even further. I moved in with my grandmother and updated the address with them multiple times. Still, I never received any delinquent notices. I still kept in contact weekly by phone. I made a payment last week and made arrangements to make another payment this coming up Friday. I was told that it would be okay, but just make another promise to pay that Friday when I came in. Today my car was repossessed. No warning. When I spoke to several workers on the phone, no one told me the status of my account. No one fixed my address in the system. No one told me that making a payment on Friday was impossible because my car was already in the process of being repossessed. There is nothing I can do except pay the full amount plus repossession fee in 15 days. Which is impossible. My grandmother was stuck at the cancer center after chemo with no ride home because my car was gone. I know it’s my responsibility to make my payments, but I thought I was okay because I kept in contact and made arrangements. Shame on those people. Please avoid this company if you ever make the horrible choice to get a title loan. Look at other options. Please.

This year I had several medical issues which in turn caused financial burdens. Without Advance America I would have really struggled. They have been a real Blessing. Thank you
