Received a call today at my work from this company, specifically Miss Hill, asking for a coworker. After refusing to tell me what company she worked with (spoiler alert we have caller ID) i went to put her on hold and missed the button and ended the call instead. she called back immediately and i very nicely and sincerely apologized for hanging up because obviously i didn't mean to. i work in customer service, i don't hang up on people. I answered and said "I am so sorry Miss Hill i went to put you on hold and hit the wrong button" Her response? "No you didn't." and then asked for MY NAME. Excuse me ma'am but whoever you're angry at in this world - it isn't me. If you're working in a customer based business (I'm guessing personal loans) you need to have people that are POLITE and SINCERE. Miss Hill AIN'T IT. Also, it seems vastly inappropriate to me to be calling someones place of work for something that isn't even in their name. just my opinion though. Thank you Miss Hill for ensuring that I NEVER look to Mariner Finance for a personal loan. Good Day.
I personally had an amazing expierence with this company they worked with me and where very understanding when I had problems great people and great customer service
I got a account with them. On my second payment I set it up to come out on a (so to say) 11th. They took it the 10th and made my checking account negitive.. now they refuse to pay for overdraft fees. Now they threaten me with a attorney.
Stay away from Mariner Finance. Target the eldery. Extremely rude staff. If I could give no stars I would.
