Was getting a FHA loan after 3 months of submitting all types of documentation and spending money and time I wind up getting 3 different closing disclosure with 3 different sets of numbers that didn’t match and going higher and higher so at the end I lost the deal and lots of money J.G. Wentworth has absolutely no clue what’s going on and you can forget about trying to call them because there never an answer and you will not even get a call back do yourself a huge favor go somewhere where someone knows what they are doing !
Expect to pay them a lot but don't expect too much in getting your loan instantly approved. They take too lang in processing your loan request. They ask for every possible documentations and requirements they could get from you. Ask you to pay an appraisal fee which is far from cheap - and take note, they are good in reminding you every single day to pay to fast-track your loan application. Once you pay for it, the world will turn 360 degrees. You won't hear from them again. You'll be the one constantly asking for an update with them. Once the long wait is over, your loan won't get approved because of some reason pertaining your income, current job status etc, Such a rip-off!
Such a waste of time dealing with them! They just made me pay them for charges that will expedite my loan request approval. But I just waited and waited for too long after paying them. Sending email follow ups to their customer service was another waste of time. Such a horrible company! Ripping off potential clients! Beware and just don't deal with them.
This is the third time I have gone through a refinancing process and using JG Wentworth is the WORST experience I have ever had. The whole process seemed promising when I spoke to the lending officer. I had to keep asking what the status of the loan was and then 3 weeks later they started asking me for additional paperwork to approve the loan. This went on the whole @ months until they've told me that my loan was denied. Very unprofessional. Don't waste your time.
James was extremely helpful in walking me through the process. I was shown professionalism in ways I have not seen with other companies. Making me feel much more comfortable with the level of transparency I received.
