I walked in this branch no one behind the counter greated anyone that walked in and told us that we would be helped in a few. There were two employees helping one lady and all the other tellers were in the back office which sounded like they were hanging out. One teller finally looked up and said " what are you doing?" Not hello how can I help you? The worst bank service I have experienced yet.
To date staff has provided me excellent and expedited support. All the associates are informed and work as a unified team.
I tried to open a new checking account. A month later it's still not open and they told me that there is a glitch in their system that uses old account data. Since I had closed my prior account with them 15+ years ago, I didn't remember any login information but was considered a "current customer" in their system. After numerous lengthy calls wtih customer service reps and following their instructions to try to verify the account every week for a month, I realized that they just couldn't figure out how to resolve the technical issues. Don't waste your time! If they can't even handle opening accounts and continuously give bad advice and have no resolution for internal glitches, how competent is this bank???
Got to be the slowest banking experience ever. On line for 15 minutes only on person in front of me 2 tellers on the phone. Another sideline onlooker.
I was at the Capital One North Plainfield branch this morning. I had an issue I needed help with and all 3 tellers went above and beyond to help me. I really thought they would not be able to help me but they did everything they could do and more. The customer service demonstrated was outstanding!!!! David and team thank you!!!!
