Fraud is a deliberate misstatement of a material fact. Misrepresentation is a bonafide representation of misstatement believing it to be true which turns out to be untrue. Don't waste your time with these people if you're an independent contractor. They are very particular about how to apply and nearly impossible to get a loan from WITH PROOF OF INCOME AND COLLATERAL!!! I asked for a 3k loan, bringing home net $1800 a week (shown in every weekly settlement stub of every week since March that I provided them). Seems to be a "no" company and only want your private info. Maybe issuing simulated loans and false accounts unknowingly like Wells Fargo did and haven't been caught yet. Then they tell you don't try until the next year's taxes are available to scrutinize. THEN, maybe they can do something.
