I was a bit irritated and when the associate told me my check was fraudulent, I did git a bit steamed, and the wait was incredibly long. But never the less 45 minutes later, the validity of the check was verified, the forms completed and I was on my way with the cash. Through out it all the associated was respectful, courteous and polite, and took additional measures to assure I was safe leaving with the cash (took me to private area to count, made sure it was put away before I left, etc.) Not to mention that there were a dozen or so people in line, and the phones where ringing off the hook. He waited on two customers at a time, and answered the phones professionally!
I waited 10min for someone to come to the counter, which wouldn't have been bad if I wasn't the only person in the store. I came with the appropriate paperwork that the website said I needed. However, the clerk told me that I needed additional paperwork. I told the clerk that that's not what the website says and his response was "well I don't know nothing about that." He didn't have to say that, because it was already clear he didn't know his job. So, I went to a different check cashing place and got my check cashed in less than 5min.
