I’d love to give a zero but not an option. They approved my daughter for a loan, then when she got there denied her due to their ridiculous calculations of making a salary and were just flat out rud!!! I have every intention of dragging their name through the mud at every advantage!!
My ex made a $9,800 loan at Mariner Finance about 13 years & used my corvette for collateral. He made 2 payments & stuck me with the remaining payments & I had to pay or they would repo my car. The thing is I still get loan offers in his name & he got all the credit for repaying it. I gave 1 star only because they make you rate them before you post here. You'd think with my name (only) being on the personal check they'd give me credit for paying it but no, nothing. I'd never borrow anything from them, ever.
No help from telephone customer service to try to help get into account on line. Well you have to call a completely different number for help. So I asked to pay by phone. And Oh yes for a 6.00 fee. Sooo you cant get on line and have to pay an extra 6 bucks and the girl said yes. I asked her to ask the Supervisor Greg Garner and he denied it. Great Customer Service Dude. What a way to run a branch. NO CUSTOMER CONSIDERATION. Oh Greg thanks for no help
If I could give them zero stars I would. Purchased flooring through Next Day Floors who botched the installation and took over 7 weeks. Mariner called numerous times about the job status and assured me the 0% would not start until the job was finished. They lied and processed the paperwork before it was completed and changed their story so many times it made my head spin. They lied to me over the phone saying I refused to return their calls but in the next breath read back my comments from their phone conversations with me. Both of these companies are shady. Avoid at all cost!
