Stay away from Mariner Finance !!! I requested a refinanced loan of $1000 and was not provided the interest rate before signing paperwork. I was asked to sign paperwork and they'll issue out a check. I asked what my interest rate is repeatedly and "Keith" told me that I would need to fill out this paperwork to finalize the loan before getting the interest rate. I even requested to receive a 12-Month term, which Keith told me he has no control of selecting the terms of the loan. Keith then gave me a check for $2500 (when I only asked for $1000) at the rate of 28% with a 3-Year term, something I never agreed to. I told him that I won't accept this check but he kept insisting that I may need the additional money at a later time. I asked him to cancel my agreement and he refused saying it will only hurt my credit even more but gave me the option of paying the loan in full without penalty as long as the check is cashed.
The staff made the whole process of getting the loan fairly easy!
When i went in there on saturday the two ladys where so nice they helped me when i thoguht i all was over. They are amazing definitely deserve a raise for the service I received. I will be telling all friends and family about it. So happy i chose this place for my personal needs
Run from this company. They report wrong on your credit report. They are rude and lack knowledge about accounts. They refuse to let you speak with upper management. They will charge you extra late fee and other malicious charges to get more money from you. They are extreme liars and they have a class action law suit for these very reasons.
