Simmons Bank is terrible. Ever since they took over Bank SNB we have had nothing but problems with our account. They do not update accounts accurately or in a timely manner. A transaction could post to your account the same day, the next day, or a week making it impossible to keep track of. Sometimes transactions will show up on my account as pending or posted but the money won't be deducted from my balance for days while it looks like it's already been processed. The overdraft fees are crazy and it is very easy to overdraft your account because your account information never shows up accurately online, or in the mobile app. This bank has caused us a lot of unnecessary financial hardship, all because it doesn't report accurately. I put my money in a bank to make it easier to manage, but it would be easier not to use a bank account at all than to bank with Simmons. The people in the local branch can't really do anything for you when there is a problem. They refer you to call a 1-800 number, but then Simmons customer service tells you to go to your local branch. Basically, no one does anything to fix the issues with inaccurate online banking. They just send you back and forth until you get tired of it and never give you any answers or solutions to the problem.
