Super helpful and friendly staff - they know ME.
This one star rating is due to receiving service from a teller who is unaware of how to perform her job adequately. I use shared branching and have deposited here before with no issues. But the teller who assisted me this time provided me a slip that only showed what type of bills were given to her and the total amount given to her for deposit. And then a line for signature. I have never received a slip like this before and I asked her if I could have the slip that I usually receive, which shows the amount deposited as well as the balance. She presumed to tell me that they do not have that kind of information, which made no sense to say. One, you’re a bank, and secondly,how do you not have my account balance but are able to deposit to my account? I would have accepted that reply more if she had stated she is unaware of how to give me a different slip, but do not state things that are untrue when I’ve been coming to this bank. Now I’m supposed to just guess what my available balance is? Knowing that all funds are not always immediately available upon deposit, therefore the slip would have provided my available balance. Not only is this inconveniencing for me but it’s also very irritating. Train your tellers better, because this was unacceptable and due to me wanting to be courteous of the other customers, I left, but I will be returning to talk to someone else.
We had a good experience with this credit union on one of our auto loans. My only slight complaint is the online banking didn’t allow for online payments. I seldom write checks anymore! Not a bother to me, but I see why that would be an inconvenience. Thanks Mainstreet!
This locations ATM is quite often out of service, and remains that way for A WEEK or more. This is extremely inconvenient, and they have shown that they have no plans to improve their customer service.
Always really helpful, I can't tell you how understanding they can be.
