Chase Bank's Reviews
If i can rate it a zero stars then I would. This place is horrible. I go through the business lane for my business transaction. I Literally had to wait 15 mins for someone to attend me then another 30 mins for them to revive my transactions. Almost an hr waiting. Will definitely go to another bank in town
I really dont understand having a business lane and line inside if they dont use it?
I've just closed my checking account here because it makes no sense. They want you to have at least $1,500 in your account at all times, to avoid fees. My Elevations Credit Union does not have such draconian provisions, and I opened a Chase account just because I needed to receive a couple of international wire transfers (Elevations doesn't have a SWIFT code). Chase is only concerned about rich clients and big corporations, not ordinary citizens.
Friendly staff and Travis was a huge help!
I am throwing in the towel here. Lost $541.51. Payment was sent from another party via 'Zelle Quickpay' From Wells Fargo on 08/30/18 at 11:52pm to my Chase Acct ending in 9610. I went into the branch on Sat 09/01/18 at 12:36pm to close the account to avoid paying monthly fees, as any diligent person would. The account was closed and the incoming transaction was bounced back. Travis, the branch manager, closed the account for me, but was unable to see that there was an incoming transaction. Apparently not his fault, BUT HOW DOES THEIR COMPUTER SYSTEM NOT SHOW AN INCOMING TRANSACTION? It seems like the Zelle quickpay system is not integrated into their teller side system, which I feel is negligent since an email was sent (to an unchecked work address) in real time when the transaction was initiated. I didn't hear anything from Chase until the 4th, in which a message was sent to my email saying the transaction was cancelled. So they can email me after I lose the money, but can't see that it's being processed. End result, I lose the $541. I am in dispute with the sending party and now the burden of proof is on me. They simply say 'hey we sent it, not our fault your bank failed to notify you there was a pending transaction.'
