They've revamped their answering system. They also answer the phone a lot faster and more consistently than they used to do. Wednesdays, make sure you call earlier because they close earlier in the day on Wednesday.
Contacted a rep with respect to an appraisal and he indicated I was in the wrong dept but agreed to transfer me to the department I needed. I was on hold for 4 hours 12 minutes and 7 seconds and never got a connection. I now have proof that the VA is as bad as what you read about them. Totally unacceptable for service members that offered their life in support of our country.
I called and called trying to get ahold of anyone for a coe. Apparently they are closed today due to bad weather. You think being a federal government office they would have a recording telling customers this vital information. I then found another number on the VA website and all this recording say to me repeatedly is you call can't go thru at this time no matter what number I push.
