I had the misfortune of going through a portion of job candidacy for this company. In doing so, I met the CEO/Owner Ron Solomon, and office manager Ann Marie Smith. The interview process was fairly typical, though I thought the owner requesting me to play jenga in his office was a little bizarre. First, let me say I have an extensive background in skip tracing, collections, and research-based projects, which is essentially what the position called for. Mapp Trap is simply a policy and online monitoring tool. I was disappointed to be passed on, but ultimately that's not what I took personal. I personally reached out to the owner himself for constructive feedback that would benefit me for future interviewers. I wrote him a respectful email requesting what it is that I can improve on so I could potentially be more successful in my job hunt. His response was pretentious in nature, simply replying that they weren't interested. In the first place that's not what I asked as I had already accepted the fact they passed on me, but again was simply seeking constructive feedback. I felt his email was dismissive and disrespectful, which is why I chose to write this review. I now can see why they have a difficult time keeping this position filled (just check Craigslist as it's the "Seeking Cybersleuths") This position seems to reappear every few months and now I suspect why. My only regret is wasting the time of even bothering with this place. If I could give ZERO stars, I would.
