Do not get a loan from this company. It might as well be considered a Loan Shark Company! I have been paying off on this loan forever! Read the fine print! Read all reviews! Do not do business with this company! Unless you want to be indebted to OneMain for a very long period! Be smart and stay away! Customer service is bad! Misleading at Best! Trust me! I wish I could give it negative 100 stars!!!! STAY AWAY!!!!!
WORST customer experience I've ever, right in line with Sprint and Comcast, if that gives you any idea. After being "pre-approved" for a "simple loan process", it took over 3 weeks just to finally sit down with someone at their office, after compiling PILES of paperwork, only to walk out WITHOUT A LOAN. Initially in the process they asked for 3 documents showing income etc; then it said loan was in process, and they would be in touch shortly. I heard NOTHING for a week, so I called them (every time you call you get a different person, and EVERY one of them tells you something different), and was told that time that everything looked good, I just had to upload a couple more documents. Which I did. Again, I heard nothing back. So I called again. Different person. "I've reviewed everything it looks all good, they just need a couple MORE documents". I uploaded and compiled THIRTEEN different documents, including my car title before I ever went it. I call again a 3rd time, same thing, and on and on. After verifying over the phone with a FIFTH person that all the paperwork was in order, I finally go to the office to sign the papers for my loan, and they tell me that I needed court papers to prove my child support income (which after at least 6 phone calls, I was told I just needed a bank statement showing it was being deposited). I have a 5 month old baby, and had told them multiple times that I GO TO COURT IN 2 WEEKS for the FIRST TIME, and that part of the REASON I NEED THE LOAN IS FOR A LAWYER TO FILE OFFICIAL PAPERWORK FOR CHILD SUPPORT. But after wasting weeks of my time, they say I need a court order for proof of child support or I don't get my loan. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. I walked out without a loan, they ALL told me different things, and you always have to call them. ZERO SCORE
They sent me an offer, which they claim was approved. I'm heading to the office to provide proof of identity and they call saying all of a sudden I'm not approved. Waste of time.
