I have banked with Sooper Credit Union for over 21 years, and specifically 11 years at this Colorado Springs Branch. I've always had a pleasant experience at every branch I've gone to. This review is in regard to Ms.Gayle Bennett at the Colorado Springs branch. I come to Gayle many times throughout the year for help on various topics, to include things like answering account questions, helping me make principle-only car payments, setting up subaccounts, helping me setup accounts for my children, and she even did my car loan paperwork back in 2016. Every time I interact with Gayle is an excellent experience for me and my family. She's very patient, explains everything in detail, always has a smile on her face, promptly replies to my emails, and is very willing to help me and my family with whatever we need. One thing that really stands out to me, and sets her apart from the rest, is her incredible memory. I don't go to the branch very often (maybe 2-3 times a year), but every time my wife or I walk through the door, Gayle greets us by name. That makes us feel special and one of many reasons why we would rather do business with your credit union than bank anywhere else where we'd be just an account number. I sincerely hope SCU knows what a great asset she is for your company, because she is truly special and one-of-a-kind. Her customer service is unmatched!
The girls and guys at the Colorado Ave location in Colorado Springs are not only helpful, but fast, efficient, while friendly. Gayle has probably helped me the most with the issues I have needed. She, along with the rest of the crew, have helped me navigate not only with my personal banking, but with my business, my marriage then divorce. My refinancing of cars and homes. They’re great. Highly recommended. It’s a small credit union and I enjoy that very much. You don’t get lost in the shuffle. Of anything, Gayle emails me to make sure I follow up. Can’t recommend them enough! Horrible service with the collections department. Have been lied to by both ( there are only 2) people that work there. I do Not recommend getting loans or banking with this credit union.
