I purchased some items about a month ago; a chainsaw, harness, and tree spikes (or pole spikes). Even though the pole spikes where a little less than safe and certainly older. Nevertheless, the overall experience was a good one. Chainsaw work great, harness was functional...(im still alive), Spikes...I had to adapt a little bit not to ocea standards but it worked. All of these items were priced very reasonably and I was in a rush they did a fantastic job it was wonderful... However my recent experience was less than satisfying. I went in to sell two 50 ft. Diablo air hoses. These items were still in their original packaging and obviously new. Each listed online for $44.95. lets round this up to$90 as a total value, just to make it easy...what's 10 cents between friends, right? It was late in the day I understand they were about to close however as the representative spoke to the owner, or at the very least, he was the manager, via video phone, after seeing the items having had them described to him, he said that they would only pay $30 for both. That's $15 each. pawn shops standardly will pay 40% on items that are even used if they're in good shape and if they are only moderately in demand. These were brand new very sought-after items. air hoses are easily sold and don't take a whole lot of space. In any case, $30 is what they offered, and I took it. We've all been in this tough spot before, right? No time to negotiate and everyone is about to close...cause hesven forbid they have to work as hard as we do. Anyway, according to my mathematical calculation 40% of $90 is $36 not a huge difference but when everybody's in a hurry and need top dollar for a very nice, new and extremely desirable product, one would hope that the "best pawn shop" would step up to the plate and give the standard 40%. Again, it's only a few bucks, $6 to be exact, people like you and me need it more then they do in my humble opinion. It just bothers me a bit that when you go to "the best pawn shop" that you would get at least what others are willing to pay...right? But since they were closing and so was everyone else that was close, I guess the temptation to make an extra $6.00 was too great. Anybody feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, please. I like these guys, don't get me wrong. I just thought that was kind of cheap. Especially for the"Best Pawn Shop"according to their sign. If you're going to claim to be the best you might want to act like it. Just a thought.

This place is a joke. Staff will mess with product until they find something wrong with it. Staff let’s “friends” hangout at counter instead of helping customers. I never recommend going to this store.
Tried to sell me a snow blower for $85. It had a clearance price tag on it for $55. I asked why and they said it was from a different store but they couldn’t honor it.
